Merchandising

The Merchandising Team coordinates with the clients regarding the orders and source the fabrics, trims and accessories accordingly. Our merchandisers are prompt in their working as they provide all information to and fro for any discrepancies or clarification regarding the orders received.

Store

The fabrics received are checked physically for any discrepancies/defects and stacked as per dye lots and colors. The fabrics are then cut by 1⁄4 yard and shade bands are made and washed, to sort out the shade variations before issuing fabric to the Cutting Department. Fabric yardages are sent for shrinkage testing and records are maintained for follow-up while grading.

On receipt of work order, fabric cards are made as per the requirement and the approximate consumption is worked out and a statement is made for assessment. Any shortages and excess is calculated and informed to the Merchandising Department to ensure that the right information is passed to the client so that the approvals can be obtained to avoid undue delay at a later stage

Approval cards are sent to the client’s office in triplicate, for approval of the same. The same system is applied for trims and other accessories.

Sampling Department

In the sample section we have an experienced Pattern Master and his team of selective tailors who can make high quality fashion garments individually. The grading of the patterns is done as per specs based on the size pattern given initially and a sample is made for approval. Post approval of the sample, size sets and post-production samples are made. Reference samples are made and kept for follow-up in production lines.

Fabric Checking & Cutting

To maintain the quality standard, we regularly conduct Complete Fabric Checking to ensure that every single meter of fabric has met the desired specifications before it moves into the Shop Floor. Fabrics are also checked randomly by the Quality Controller (QC).

The patterns are checked by the Cutting Incharge before the marker is drawn. The marker length is checked with the original sample and all parts of the garment are duly place and marked. After the cutting, the parts are checked with the patterns for accuracy-before sorting and issuing to the production lines

Production Line

The Shop Floor constitutes a team of experienced professionals and workers who are well equipped to ensure product quality and delivery reliability. Our Shop Floor has a Supervisor, assisted by a Line Leader and a QC. The QC Department controls the quality of every operator. There are in-line checkers stationed to check for the broken/jump stitches, alignment of checks and stripes, shades, damages and for placements– before and after making the full garment. The Leader takes control of input in lines, collection of trims, pattern boards, etc

Finishing Department

The Finishing Department is divided into 3 parts, namely: The Finishing Room, consisting of 10 Aura steam presses, kajj and button machines, while the Spotting Room and Packaging Room are separated for health and safety as well as security

We also have a warehouse where finished goods are stored before the final QC inspection (from our in-house QC Dept. as well as the client’s). The finished goods are dispatched from the warehouse itself.
